I was thinking of signing up for a trial of whatrunswhere
Is it worth it as an affiliate marketer and is it helpful

Also how does it work? Do you just put in a url of a similar site to yours and it tells you all the places it is advertising

    WhatRunsWhere is a great competitive intelligence tool.

    Rather than shooting in the dark, why not take ideas from somebody else's campaigns as a foundation to make your own better and more targeted?

    Give it a try and see for yourself...

    You might want to check out follow.net and SimilarWeb. They both tie into WhatRunsWhere and they're free. You can't do everything that you could with WhatRunsWhere, but it might be worth trying

    Check out AdBeat as well. I prefer their interface and it seems they have fresher content.

      Pardon my chiming in. Right now WhatRunsWhere sees it's data updated about every 18-24 hours. Within the next 2 weeks, it will be updating every 10-30 minutes.
      We gather a lot more data than most competitors so it takes some doing, but we're nearly to the point where our data will essentially be realtime.

    IMO it's helpful for an intermediate to advanced marketer, but if you are just getting started you are better off spending that money on other things like testing, training, etc
