Question regarding CPA offers

I think I understand the premise of CPA much better now. So CPA is cost per acquisition and it's about getting a customer to fill out some info, or give a zip code etc. It's different from promoting say, a diet pill from clickbank. Am I correct?

So if I wanted to start out by doing CPA offers, I wouldn't need a site full of content would I? I'd just need either a sales page that directs the customer to the merchant's form page, or I'd need a squeeze page that gets their email and then I'd email them about signing up for my cpa offer??

I'm overwhelmed with all this new info I've been learning. As always, any help is greatly appreciated

Yes, a CPA offer can be something as little as an email submit to as much as a credit card submit.

As for site content, it really depends. Do you know how you would promote the offers?

I thought I'd just use paid traffic because I'm looking for faster results than SEO would be likely to give me. Also, the idea of writing 20+ articles just seems daunting. I have no idea how people come up with enough ideas for that much written content. Especially since I want to stick to the evergreen niches (mainly diet supplements and skin care). Thoughts? And let me know if I didn't properly answer your question. Thanks.

I'm new to this stuff too. I've been working with CB and 7search for 2weeks now with no conversion. Then I found this forum and someone in another post recommended CPA instead. So I like to learn this as well since I've already lost about $200.00 with no return.

    Hi there Sky,

Yep, you're on the right track. Also, Cost Per Action. I'm actually with a CPA platform that has won a lot of awards-- It's called CrakRevenue.

Just to give you an idea on how some of our CPA stuff works - if you were to choose us, for example, you could promote Webcam sites through us, through some of our awesome landing pages. We've developed some of the best professional video guides around that detail how & why a user should register for free on said cam site.

The free registration process can be completed in under 20 seconds.
    (It's just a username/email signup.)

With us for instance, we pay PPL (pay-per-lead), PPS (pay-per-sale), and Revshare (revenue sharing).

Once the visitor registers for free and confirms that they entered a valid email by clicking a standard confirmation link, we credit you a $2.50 commission if the visitor came from an acceptable country, if you're promoting our PPL program. We also offer a Revshare model for cams, too.

Let me know if you have any questions CPA is very exciting. I wish you all the best!

Yes, that "sales page" is commonly know as a landing page by CPA Marketers. Sounds like you are on the right track!

Clickbank converts fine, depending on the product.
Your real problem could be 7search. $200 lost, try $3k.
That is what I wasted on 7search in addition to my own time.

If you are going to get into paid traffic I suggest you build a list.
You can also build a list with CPA.

Bing ads is a better form of paid search, and if you use their own network and not their partner network, you can hold them liable if any fraudulent clicks get to your site that you are charged for.

People do not realize how much traffic fraud is going on on both the publisher and advertiser side in the industry at the moment. This is why it is of the utmost importance to build a list and recover the costs of fraudulent traffic burdens.

Thanks Owen, I really appreciate your response. I thought about using some of the fiverr services for driving traffic, you know 200 facebook likes for $5 bucks, SEO optimization etc... Also I saw an ad for a Click Bank add on which gives you a snap shot of (red & green ) displayed on CB products page that identifies the products with a better conversion rate along with other helpful stats for each product. Unfortunately I cannot find it now. So Owen, if you were me, a brand new newbie with no list and no on-line experience where would you start, I am a fast learner and have been in business for 25yrs. I also have a few dollars left from my previous life. Thanks again for helping. Best, G

I would open up a Bing ads account, you can get a coupon currently as-well for $50 in free ads.

Go for a niche like weight-loss and beauty for females.

Go for keywords to do with weightloss book authors like Jillian Michaels.

A good keyword would be Jillian Michaels book.

There are tones of weightloss authors out there.

          Here are some examples:

          Paul J Mcvety
          Lilah Al Masri
          Timothy Scharold Md
          Marla Cilley
          Joseph M Carlin
          Pamela Young
          Gianfranco Moioli
          Carolyn Gibson
          Susana Zurschmitten
          Editors Natural Health
          Jack Norris
          Babu Moses

Build a squeeze page or get someone to create one for you.

Build an email list and follow up with Weightloss products from either clickbank or diet cpa offers. The market is huge and there is tones of opportunity to make money in Weightloss.

If this all seems a bit in depth, it might be at first but the key is not to get side tracked.

You basically just want to build a base of customers to email.

          Here are a few resources:
Bing Ads Courses - Bing Ads Search Advertising
Bing Ads Coupon Code: Get $50 in Free Ads w/ 2014 Promo
          Video tutorials - GetResponse Support

Getresponse can provide you with landing pages for you to direct customers to from your bing ads account.

Hope this gives you an some idea of the process.
