How to use a Landing Page with POF

Hey there gang,

I am still newbie here

so here it goes

I was wondering how and what is the easiest way to use a landing page with PoF. currently i am using direct links and they are working ok. But everyone on here is suggesting to use a landing page.

can you please advise how to set it up, and how does it work?

i understand that this is the first page someone will see when they click the link and it can be set up with a custom domain.


What i want to know is how to link all the required fields such as " "email" age" "name" with the offer i am promoting so i can get credit for it.

I found a lot of FREE (greedreport) and PAID templates out there but they are no help when it comes to installation and set up.

Another question is does it have to be the same domain name and logo name as the offer? or can it be something completely different?

    To learn landing pages first you need to learn html/php IMO. Another option is to go with a CMS (content management system) like wordpress..

    Work on creating simple web sites first, then you can work on designing landing pages

      i can create a HTML website. my question is how do i link everything with the offer? since on peerfly gives you only a affiliate link.

    If you don't know html, then there are other ways you can set up a landing page.

    Take a look at this article, affbeast.com/library/courses/create-landing-page/, if you're good at photoshop, then you can just make your landing page on photoshop and use "image-mapping" to place links over the image. There's an example there too, check it out.

    Or, like ChrisBa said, you can just install Wordpress and find themes to use as your landing page.

    I think you're confused about what a landing page does. You take your affiliate link from Peerfly, and PLACE that on your landing page. Like if your landing page has a button that says "Click here to sign up!" then you place your affiliate link as that button.

    Once the visitor clicks on that link on your landing page, you will get credit for any conversion that happens.

    Here's an exerpt from affbeast's article on domains;

    Let’s say you want to start a Christian dating CPA campaign. You log into your CPA network and you see that the network offers two Christian dating CPA offers, SingleChristian.com and MingleChristian.com. You want to know which one will make you more money, so you decide to test between the two offers.

    So you create a generic dating landing page and you split test between the two different offers. Now you need a domain name.

    So you create the subdomain, “christian.datingwebsite.com” and you load your landing pages onto that subdomain.

      My main question is lets i make a landing page with name age and email and submit button so should the submit button be linked to the offer Contextual link? and if so will it just take them to the offer submit page?

        Oh I see what you're trying to ask.

        An affiliate's landing page is nothing more than a "door" to the offer's page, meaning that when the visitor hits your landing page, the only thing he/she can do is click on your affiliate link. Then they can fill out their email/name/age on the offer's page (not your page).

        The conversion happens on the offer page, not on your landing page!

          oh ok i got it. so what is the reason for the landing page? a lot of the landing pages i see on POF look worse then the actual offer. do they actually convert better then just going to direct link?

            A good landing page will almost ALWAYS increase conversion rates.

            What a landing page does is "pre-sell" to your visitors and it gets them in the right mindset to convert.

    Rip/Clone landers you find with spy tools and load them on your domains. Split test and find winners (30-50% CTR). Good luck!

    Hey I would strongly suggest not including email and stuff on your landing page.

    Simple call to action.
    Also on pof try and integrate the dynamic tokens using GET method of HTTP.

    Also another way is write a free report and get opt ins and market to them and for that use any squeeze page theme from wordpress

    If you are member or my site, I have some setup guides available. Shot me a PM and I'll link you to them. Sorry can't remember if you joined or not.

    Basically, you need to upload them to your server via FTP and setup tracking.

    If you are using my page, you'll want to customize it a bit to fit your offer, and add a good pitch. You should try creating a test account on POF for ideas, and to see what your competition is doing.
