Basic question about CPA (sign-up) landing pages

guys im new to the game so please please bare with me.

i just stumbled upon a pretty big network site that runs about 10 differently branded websites under them, all slight remixes and variations of the same niche.

Their affiliate program offers payout for every valid member signup on their site.

among the material they give to their affiliates, they have landing pages with sign up forms.

may i ask how does that work?


for example, if we have a site called www.super123.com and they want affiliates to drive people to sign up, why do they give landing pages with sign up forms to affiliates?

does this mean affiliates need to purchase their own traffic (ads) and domains (www.super123lander-x.com)... and how can they process the data from affiliate lander sign up to their main one?

    This is best asked to the people offering this, typically they would give you an affiliate link you could use, some also provide landing pages as well, but typically some work can lead to better results by developing your own landing pages depending on the traffic sources..

    As for the data from your landing page to theirs, it's probably in the code - but it's best you ask your AM.

    Like Chris said they should give you are affiliate link, that will track all this.
