Buying leads from CPA networks: how cool is that?

Do you buy leads from CPA networks? Please share your experience. What pitfalls to expect? I need to build my list fast, are CPA networks the best solution? How huge the budget should be to start with? I think of buying leads for $1-2 per opt in. Though I'm not sure about the quality of the leads driven by their affiliates. I heard of the cases when affiliates scam their vendors by hiring people to sign up for free offers and free trials they promote. What do affiliate networks do about it?

It would be awesome to pay only for subscribers, not for all traffic that flows in and out of your landing page. How not to fail? What would you say? Thanks.

I would only go to a CPA Networks after you've tested your funnel a bit with Facebook Ads, and other sources.

Once you know it converts, if the niches fits, go for it.

I agree with this. Do some testing so you have some baseline metrics and know how to week out fraud quickly.

If you have to ask this question here, I wouldn't recommend it to you. Start with some traffic sources, that are familiar to you, like greedy said.

If you have your backend setup and have enough to pay the network and have some way to monitor quality, fraud, etc - then why not start reaching out to networks to find the requirements.
