LeadImpact Opt-In for high CTR. Please Advise

So in the last week ive created nearly 30 campaigns, most of which have a lander and half probably have multiple diffrent landing pages. For one offer Im promoting which is a Stock Market e-course program(Stock Market / education / newsletter with monthy tips on stocks) it costs $100 to the user and has a $50 payout. In the last week i have had 500 impressions for this particular banner with a CTR 20%, with no conversions. I have a few question about the above. (Tracking everything with CPVlab)

1) I was thinking about creating an email opt-in, because it seem like a lucarative niche. Only problem is i dont really have any type of email campaign set up. No useful information on the subject. Should I still create list?

2) Also, can i still build an email list without requiring the user to confirm there email? If possible i, would like to build a list and start useing it when i get all my resources in place to monetize a list. (I know most recommend aweber, but i pretty sure they require email confirmation)

3) I know most people's thorey is to run a keyword 1.5x times the offers payout. So far i have only spent $10 on a $50 dollar payout. Does that mean i should spend anouther $40-$100 testing if this is a profitable offer?

I appretiate everybody time and help in ansering the above. Thank You

Yes, you need to create a list. It isn't typical people are going to make a $100 purchase from a pop up. (It has been done though.)

Learn how to make good lists and funnels.

It will help you a lot, not only with this campaign, but as an online marketer in general.

    It is a must.

aWeber does not require a confirmation email, and they are great to work with.

Yes, you need to spend $50-$100 per URL or keyword you are targeting in LeadImpact.

Also make sure to use tracking.

$10 is really nothing, it is pretty early to change things.

If you can't afford a budget to test this campaign go with lower payout offer. It will cheaper to test, and you would have better luck not using a list.

Building a list is almost always a good idea IMO.

You can do a single opt-in or double opt-in, but just keep in mind that having a single opt-in does not necessarily mean more members or more profit.

If your basing your budget on this then yes, but it's really up to you how you do it.

You need to ideally spend ~2x the payout per target. Testing a $50 payout offer.. Id have a solid grand set aside ready to blow.

For opt ins, we just released some tracking software for list building (view thread here) and part of it is built specifically to be compatible with LI. For example, it will track the &keyword= keyword passthrough and rotate pages. Giving you a breakdown of what landers perform best overall, as well as keyword performance, and subscriber cost data.

Emailing is a hard game though too. Start getting your autoresponder sequence ready!

Thank You all for the replys. If I plan on just accumilating emails for the next 3-6 months (assuming no email confirmation for them to deal with), and only make my first contact with my list 6 months from now, will it still be an effective list? or is it pretty much nessisary to get them involved right after you get there email? Thanks

6 months out is far too long in my opinion. Peoples motivation for things and interest waiver on a daily basis. Catch them while theyre fresh id say-each subscriber is unique.

No that is too long, you need to have an auto-responder chain of emails setup before you even start building your list.
