1 Million Fans but what now?
I have spent a year building and growing my site - relationshipsurgery dot com

It is in the Relationships and Dating niche and is a Q&A site / Forum. My fanpage went viral a few years back and grew to over 1million fans. I can therefore drive a fair amount of traffic form the fanpage. This has meant I have probably not focused on SEO as much as I should have.

The site is getting around 200 Google hits and 10k hits from me posting on my page each day but only makes around $30 adsense max each day.

I wondered if anyone could advise me on

1. How can I increase my Google hits without the need for link building? Can this be done by internal linking and if so how do I do this on my kind of site?
2. Is Adsense the best way for me to monetise at the moment? Is there something obvious I am missing with the masses of fans I have?

Not possible despite what you see in the WSO sections these days. No matter what google says, backlinks are the single most important page 1 ranking factor.

Is Adsense the best way for me to monetise at the moment? Is there something obvious I am missing with the masses of fans I have?

Don't waste time on adsense. There are eons of relationship improving products that you can market. Just head over to clickbank and check out the best selling ones. Some of them are truly good.
In fact, I would even suggest rolling out your own product with maybe someone's help, since you have already established yourself in the market (as you have 1M+ fans).

Both the options will increase your revenue many folds, which will give you more funds for a quality linking campaign, which will drive more google visitors, which will increase your revenue and so on...

We did try dating offers but most of the traffic are already in relationships.

  If they are in a relationship already they must be looking for advice. Try sell them a relationship councelling ebook or something

Try both Clickbank relationship products and dating CPA offers .

Make also sure to test varieties of banners and angles on your site . You can make judgment with one day test .

  First thing you should do is write a half decent ebook and give it away free. Don't give away your best advice just enough, you can sell that later as a paid ebook. You need to get those email address into an auto responder, hence the free ebook. You can then market click bank products to them. Also, you would amass such a huge list you can then sell solo ads.
