Whale Method?

Hey all,

I'm still relatively new to online marketing (started in January and have only been serious about it since June) and just got an email from Ryan Deiss, one of the guys I follow.

He was plugging a training product called "The Whale Method" which looks like it's focused on ad networks. I don't know much about ad networks but I definitely like the idea of cheaper clicks through buying a bulk of impressions (as long as I can get some of them to convert!)

Right now I'm marketing within the health & fitness industry (more specifically the home health/fitness niche).

My question is, does anyone have any experience with this? I have a feeling that the training within "Whale Method" could just as easily be found here in this forum...

    Never heard of it, but if he's talking about media buying and getting large orders to lower the CPM, then you don't really need to buy his course to do that.

    I don't know anything about it. Everything can be learned here from these free forums, but it'll take more time, patience browsing, etc. Anyways, I myself have learned a lot from free forums.

    BUT, some products/guides offer that information you can find here in more organized and time saving manner.

    Agree with PerformanceMarketing - if there was less guru's putting fancy words in front of "methods" probably more people would make more progress.

    I'm not bashing the guy who wrote the course, paid stuff has it's place.

    You can't really learn as well from free forums because 95% of the people you're "learning" from don't know what they're talking about!
