Blog CPA/Adsense Success? Advice plx

I've had a blog that I started about 9 months ago in a Niche that's real popular for sure. This means there's quite a bit of competition and is also sought after. I know people do tend to buy products related to the niche too.

Where I Am So Far

I've tried to build up the site and add quality posts over time. I have 22 posts and I'd say over half of them are really high quality. Each post varies in content and still is a part of the niche. I have over 10 products related to the various posts (imbedded links in the posts and a Top Products page specifically) as well as 3 Adsense ads in the best hotspots.

I'd say I've done a decent job building the site overall, although I'm trying to add more and more content with more and more offers.

My plan was to get to at least 30 posts with over 15 products throughout the posts and then proceed to promote the site.

Traffic Strategy

Once I reach that spot, my plan is to make 3 youtube channels and add at least 15 high quality videos per channel with links in the video and in the description. I'd comment on other youtube videos and try to get more views on the channels. Hopefully I'd reach at least several thousand views, obviously hoping for a least 1 video to get a buttload or more views (100k+ would be ideal, although difficult lol.) I watched a whole series on the best way, with the best tips to promote on youtube.

After that I was going to try to promote my blog through facebook niche related pages, comment on related blog sites and forums. At first I'd shoot for at least several dozen of each.

On the actual Blog, I do have on page SEO through a wordpress addon. In the past I've had success on a entirely different blog on getting traffic that way, although it was a micro niche.

Top Strategies I've Ruled Out Thus Far

Honestly so far, I've ruled out getting any substantial amount of traffic through SEO on my site because the niche is HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY competitive. I can't imagine how many high quality BLs it would take. I also don't have a budget/time for this. I've additionally ruled out paid traffic and listbuilding, although I know others are blackbelt masters with great success in this area. (I don't think my selling skills are anywhere near other peoples, and the format of the site is strictly blog-like.)

Last Thoughts

Over time I would add more and more building it up forever, getting at least 50 blog posts 25 products, more youtube, facebook, blog/forum comments. I plan on this being a long term strategy.

My question is do you think this strategy has any chance of being successful with the methods I've ruled out? Do you have any tips/advice I could add to the strategy? I'm hoping I can get a decent amount of return readers and a lot of people trying to find solutions as one stop buyers too. Id love to have this as a good source of income and hope to be successful in a couple years or more. Thoughts/comments/concerns? :p

You've got an idea which is great and its in writing ... now you just need to act on it. You'll never know how successful you are going to be until you try.

Sorry if I burst your bubble but your most likely not going to get the results you expected right away. It will take time for you to realize what is working, what isn't, how you should change, and how you should grow.

Your main method of traffic seems like it is going to be SEO & YouTube. Stick to these methods until you get into a rhythm and make something work. Even if its just one sale. Find out what it took to make that sale and just keep building.

    Best of Luck

It looks like a good start, just try not to go too broad with your posts (you want to keep them closely related and in the same niche)

    I love to blog.

    I blog daily.

    But you know what?

    I wouldn't really consider myself a blogger.

I'm more of an email marketer.

See, I just re-use the content on my blog everywhere I can.

I share it on social networks (twitter [x5], facebook, linkedin, delicious, digg, tumblr, wordpress), etc.

I get decent traffic from those social plugs alone. (Not killer traffic, but probably a few hundred uniques per day).

I also take that same content, and send it to my list.

I would say that's where my money is made.

So, if you're not currently building a list, and leveraging the hell out of your content (use it in more than one place), I would start doing that.

Just my $.02 and I hope it gives you some good brainstorming ideas.

    :]

    Stay cool

Since you already have a plan here, you need to put it into action and see what happens. But for my personal opinion, I think it will take a lot of time before you start seeing results.
