Hi Everyone. I keep reading stuff from this forum, that show me that affiliate marketing is still doable.

and I am trying to start doing some affiliate marketing through various networks.

I am using propser202 (well learning how to). And would like to know if someone would be willing to take me under their wing and guide me through the propser202 world, and how I connect the dots from CPA network, to POF to prosper and back. OR any advertising site for that matter, not just POF.

    Let me know when you figure that out. I've heard great things about prosper202 but I haven't seen a definitive guide or information on how to incorporate it effectively. I tend to rely on ad networks sub id features to do my tracking and optimizing.

      I have watched the videos that Mike Morgan posted, they are very helpful, there is also a propser forum, but the response in it is a bit delayed, they are not instant. If you are patient, you will get a response to your question.

    My advice, skip 3rd party trackers at the start. You don't need them yet.

    Simplify it and use the conversion pixels from the traffic source. I've seen too many quit because they can't wrap their head around tracking. You have to track things but don't complicate it.

      From what I read everyone says that it is extremely important to track your clicks, but it is rather confusing, at the beginning, I agree. Is 3rd party tracking not better for tracking your campaigns?

      So, to start, you suggest, I skip the prosper step, and just use subid's within the network itself, and then get the pixel code from the different traffic generators, and then as i slowly build start learning and slowly integrating prosper (or any 3rd party tracking software) into my daily routine?

      Finally, what does your PPC coach offer? Is it a step by step guide? or is it more for ppl who are already working with ppc, and fully newb friendly?

      Hey, I have watched all those videos, and they are very informative. And I have watched them all more than once.

      The issue I keep getting stuck on is the whole pixel vs postback url. And the whole LP issue. Do I need to create my own LP for these offers, and then integrate them with prosper? Or can I skip the whole LP and just use the LP that the affiliate offers me?

      I also find that with some of the affiliate networks, they allow you only one postback URL, and multiple pixels html. BUT, im told postback is much better for tracking.

    The Tracking202 videos are great, also like InternetMarketingSmarts pointed out you could use simpler tracking like Sub-ID tracking.

    With 202 if you can't get the pixel or postback url to work you could just import conversions from your sub-ids.

    When staring out I suggest finding a concept you like and sticking with it for a few months.

    What kind of budget do you have to work with?

      internet marketing smarts doesnt seem to work.

      I am trying to find something that I like to start, and get my feet wet, but i seem to always be scared to test the waters because I fear I am doing something wrong! hehehe

      I dont have a "set budget" pursy, but I was hoping to start with approx 100$/week in ads/investment to see if I can work my way to start bringing in an income daily.

      The goal is to start making money on a daily basis, and scaling upwards.

      Would you be interested in taking me under your wing and help me get starter, and get my feet wet?

    Do you know which traffic sources you are interested in learning (aside pof)? IMO you should figure this out then look for a mentor with experience with those traffic sources.
