I'm about to get into FB ads myself. I read FB is now allowing direct linking, however, some merchants do not allow it (oxymoron). I'm trying to find out, if affiliates are using landing pages, as apps, on their pages, or sending traffic off facebook to a landing page, then the offer.

I think sending them off FB, to a lander, then, to the offer is too many clicks for user. I also wonder if, direct linking costs more per click? And if click are cheaper staying on FB, rather than going to website?

Oh I read Iframes work well too..

Using a landing page could actually help your conversions if done properly. This way you also don't need to worry about Facebook not allowing the link since it's not direct linking.

As far as direct linking, Facebook does not allow some links from certain CPA networks. You could use a re-direct code but those also seem to be changing quite often as Facebook catches on.

Yes. I am very big on keeping the user within Facebook. This is the best way to get some really cheap CPC's. Plus there are more benefits this way. I understand the landing page aspect, as a pre-sell. I'm looking into creating an app, with an Iframe landing page, be able to using tracking link. Anyone using iframe tabs/apps for landing pages?

People use landing pages for better conversions. If you think vendor page is great at converting, go for direct linking, otherwise i highly suggest to use a landing page...

Tracking URL of most of the CPA networks are banned by FB. SO you need to mask them with your own domain. Dont put your affiliate link directly into FB.

I'd recommend sending your traffic to a squeeze page of yours first to collect emails, and then redirecting them to the offer. This way you may build an email list which you can follow up with other related offers.

I doubt Facebook allows "Dream Marriage" campaigns, I would be careful not to get your account banned.

Also Facebook does not allow direct linking to many affiliate networks, since it auto-denies their links. You will have to setup a re-direct, or use a landing page.

Lastly, if you are going to promote dating make sure you takes some time to read over Facebook's Ad Guidelines. They will help you a lot.

I'd try a different offer, I don't think fb will approve ads going to that offer

I've gotten Dream Marriage approved, direct linking, but who knows, Facebooks ad approvals are somewhat inconsistent.

Well, I promote constantly dating offers on facebook and I point my add to facebook fan page timeline or tab app.
Anyway, one word can ruin your campaign and as Greedy said, read carefully Facebook TOS and ads guidelines.

Campaign go to fanpage
fanpage have status that the messages contain your LP
LP > go to offer page

is it something like that?

I have test somehow fanpage have better CTR ( promoted post ) than external URL . but i havent know that the fanpage quality is good enough to have click to each our status .

Yes, that works great. That is what I was posting about today.

You need to add an App that gives your Facebook Fanpage a new tab for HTML for a Landing or a Squeeze Page ect...
