PPV - click through to offer or another landing page?

Anyone experimented with having your PPV lander go to a regular lander as you would on a display ad rather than straight to the offer? I'm interested in experiences doing this with short lead gen or dating type offers. Thanks.

    I have had success doing this, but mainly with trail and CPS offers.

    I never did it with CPL and Dating. Since I always felt a 1 page was enough to pitch the offer well.

    Split test it to find out, set up 2 campaigns, one direct link and one with a landing page. But you'll find that landing pages almost always convert better if they're properly optimized.

    For reference, some 95+% of the sample Leadimpact ads shown by PPV Spy were (direct?) normal full page sales pages not optimized for the smaller popup window.

    If doing CPA, your network may be happier to see stelar EPCs from a pre-sell lander rather than a huge number of unproductive impressions.

    I've done this before and it sometimes and sometimes doesn't. This is really the only way you will know if it works or doesn't.

    Hello, make the lander to collect the e-mails, if you collect the e-mails you can promote several other offers in the future with them. If you're promoting a dating offer for women, you can throw affiliate links for skin care; weight loss; cosmetic products. This way, from one effort you're reaping more rewards. You can always sign up with more weight loss offers and whatever the e-mail stands out to you, just copy them and send them in your autoresponder and increase your profits.
