Arabian Traffic

Hello

Maybe how in this forum have experience about arabian traffic (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates) The google adwords dont work very good in this country. Thank you for answers!

    Why do you say Google Adwords don't work well? I ran a successful campaign last year and I'm still getting 30% conversion rate on a Saudi squeeze page from organic traffic.

    What language are you targeting? What service? Are there cultural issues you might be coming up against?

    PPS. To answer your question about alternative traffic sources, Twitter and forums are red hot. Also classified sites can be used because they rarely have any effective moderation.

      Wow, that's awesome if the classified sites and the forums are not properly moderated. That means some easy sources of traffic.

      By the way, are you promoting SEO related services or what as you are getting good conversions?

      Secondly, I would like to know if you are promoting using Arabic language or does English also work effectively with Arabic traffic?

        No this campaign was for a local startup.

        I focus on English because my Arabic isn't good enough to impress a 3rd Grader. There's plenty of market here for English speaking services.

    I have separate dating sites for each of the 6 GCC countries (Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi and UAE)

    I haven't used adwords
    but Face Book ads work great there.
    Among all these 6 countries I love traffic coming from Qatar (highly converting traffic) followed by UAE traffic.

    You can get huge arabian organic traffic by simply going to google.com/webmaster open your sit's dashboard. In the upper right corner there will be a gear icon click it and than click Settings. Now select the Arabian Country from where you want to target the Traffic.
