Clarification of a landing page?

Hello,

I am seeking a thorough explanation and clarification of what a landing page is in both mobile CPA marketing, and web CPA marketing. And also any suggestions of the best websites to build and host proper landing pages. Any input on this subject is greatly appreciated.

    a landing page is where you send your trafic so you can sign them for a free reports or something in exchange of their email, in the thank you page you usually insert link to some pay offer so you can monetize all this.

    Typically a landing page is the followup sales presentation given after a user clicks an advertisement. Like other advertising media the design of a landing page can have a dramatic effect on the sales rate, spit-testing design variations is standard procedure in creating a profitable campaign. There are paid landing page libraries and building tools.

    Some ad networks, notably Google Adwords require a landing page to meet certain quality standards in order to get the best ad prices, while single purpose "squeeze pages" remove all distractions from the task of opting in, Google requires landing pages to provide useful content as well as Terms and Privacy page links and other methods to exit the landing page.

    The basic explanation for a landing page is its a presell page, it can be or consist of anything but the main reason for them is to presell the offer and bridge the gap between your traffic source and your offer. The other thing that a landing page can be used for is collecting email addresses for list building.

    Landing page means for the particular keyword you have set the particular link. If is their any search on the keywords your targeted page should be rank for the keyword. This is call landing page.
