Can I just offer affiliates 100% commission for each sale so I can figure out the customer archetype and get data for Product Market Fit? Everyone is happy. Affiliates get the money, I get the data. Long term the data is more important than the short term payouts.

    Yes, you could do that, it's not like CPA networks can tell you how much you can or can't make per sale. But you have to be prepared for losing money such as when chargebacks occur but you're already paid out 100%. Any fees or costs will make you lose money if you're running at 0 margin.

    If you're selling a product and handing out 100% commissions, I recommend doing so by joining a site like JVZoo where you can charge 100% delayed commissions and the commissions will be paid out once the return period has expired. That way, you don't lose money on charge backs and build a list of buyers.

    You can do it, but personally I wouldn't. How happy will the affiliates be when you cut their payouts when it's time for you to start making some money.
