Question about niche websites and landing pages

so im just getting started with CPA, i have a nice bit of experience with PPD, but i used only youtube to get my traffic. With cpa when people are talking about landing pages and niche sites i get confused.

everytime you change your cpa lead say from dating to gaming to weightloss etc when you are trying offers, you have to build an entirely new website and pay the fees of starting a new site over?

like if i had a cpa for weightloss the website name would be about weightloss or something like that, but then if i wanted to switch to gaming or dating it would be pointless to just delete the content off that website and put dating content up when the website name is still about weightloss.

if you guys understand what i am saying

You can create one general domain and put whatever landing pages on it you like. I do something similar. For many offers or a squeeze page the domain name doesn't have much meaning for the visitor.

so would you have a generic name or it really dont matter. also would you use a .com for this or a blogger . im guessing a registered domain would be more attractive looking to the viewer, more professional

The registered .com would be preferable. I would choose a generic domain with no intrinsic meaning. Make up something snappy and memorable that doesn't have any context. Then you can promote whatever offers you want with no issues.

ok so then you would just change the whole site if you changed the type of campaign? but if the site had seo done on it and backlinks and such would you still change the whole site or would it be a waste?

No, you can use the same hosting and domain.

And landing pages are typically only 1 page, so you can build another 1 quickly.

If you are using Youtube, I would highly recommend build a list with a Squeeze Page and an Auto-Responder. A Squeeze Page, is 1 page landing page that is meant to capture people's name and emails. You have probably seen these before.
