How to Increase CTR on POF

I just started POF and I am promoting a dating program. What type of pictures can I upload as my ad to get men to click on the ad?

I tried showing only the face, and it wasn't good. I tried using a couple photo and the CTR wasn't good (0.03%). I tried picture of a regular woman cut off from the stomach area (i.e the head to stomach is showing, no cleavage showing). and the CTR is like (0.06%).

        How is the sales copy? The sales copy may not be appealing enough to cause people to click. Focus on making your ad better not watching your competitor.

        You have no idea if the competitions ads are converting or not. Focus on your ads. Start with the copy.

    Sound like you are not testing enough images.

    Most success POF advertisers will test 40+ images in a single campaign.

    Create an account of POF to get ideas or eye catching images.

      40+ images? Wow, that seems a lot. Right now, I just started a campaign with 20 images and a mix of text titles and descriptions. I will run them till about 3,000 impressions till I get a good CTR. Usually I shoot for a CTR of .085 or greater to determine if the pic is successful or not.

    Try adding a bright colored border like bright red, green or blue especially. People associate blue with links and are more likely to click.

    How many variations of face, head to stomach, etc Did you try? I find with pof it's strength in numbers - I start out with at least 5 different images, 5 different ad variations (25 ads). Then weed out the losers and creation more variations around the winners. Sometimes head shots work, sometimes body shots do, I don't find this is ever consistent for me. The key is to test, test, test

    I would advice you to test new ad images or ad headlines to improve your CTR is If you are facomg any trouble getting ads approved trying duplicating an already running ad, and changing the headline. I hope it will help you to improve your ctr as most of the it works fine for me.

    If under 0.1% CTR after 1k-2k impressions. Kill it. But then again I optimize by ROI and not CTR. If no conversions after 10k impressions, kill it.
