Where to start with CPA? Cpa newb needs help!

I'm a complete newb to CPA marketing. I've been browsing this section of the Warrior Forum and seen some very good results that people have had, but I still don't really know where to start.
I am signed up at a CPA network (MaxBounty), and I originally signed up to get CPA offers for my Kindle writers' Facebook page, although it ended up that there is nothing Kindle related on their network at all. I don't want to let my membership on the network go to waste, though... especially after hearing all of the success people have had with it.
So... where should I start?
Should I direct link to offers with ads?
Should I direct link to offers with YouTube videos?
Should I make a Facebook page around a specific ad? (still learning FB marketing...)
Should I try a combo of different methods, or stick to one method?
Or is there something else I should try?

Also, what is the best type of offer to promote with this? Email opt-ins or website sign-ups that pay a few dollars per opt-in? Or something else?

I really don't know much about CPA marketing, as I haven't researched it much. I would like to get started learning about it on the side, so here I am.

    If you budget is over $800 paid, less with free traffic.

    Should I direct link to offers with ads?
    Landing pages and squeeze pages always work best.

    Should I direct link to offers with YouTube videos?
    This is a good method if you don't have enough money to pay for paid traffic. Youtube is great for Free Traffic.

    Should I make a Facebook page around a specific ad? (still learning FB marketing...)
    Yes, your niche is everything. Some niches are not profitable, some every profitable.

    Should I try a combo of different methods, or stick to one method?
    Stick with one, it is one of the most common newbie mistakes. Don't jump around.

    Or is there something else I should try?
    Not that I can think of.

      I think I'm going to settle with YouTube videos. I've browsed MaxBounty a bit and these look like they're the best offers for me:

      This only pays $2 per sign up, but since it's free and doesn't look scammy I think I can get a lot more sign ups. Is this a good idea? There's also a similar Star Wars game like this that I may try along with this.

      This looks like it will be good, especially because it's a free sign up. But, I don't know barely anything about promoting the dating niche. I may try this with Facebook ads that direct link just to expirement. Is this a good idea?

      6-10 per month ----- $75 /signup
      11-20 per month ----- $100 /signup

      The profits on here look very high. I'd probably do a YouTube video. Thoughts?

    Start with dating via FB Ads. Always use a landing page. Run top offers on the network by EPC and volume. Profit!

    Sign up for some others and decide for yourself.

    Some of my favorites: MaxBounty, Peerfly, ClickBooth, NeverBlue, Ads4Dough.
