Creating a Landing Page through Wordpress

Hi,

How do I make a landing page without using some type of plugin/theme using wordpress?

Do I have to go to the Php??

    Why not using the whole wordpress blog as a landing page? Just create a post, maybe some pages and an "About me" widget. Then I drive traffic to that landing page. Should look pretty good if you choose the right theme.

      It's the Banner/header that I don't want.

      Let's say I have an offer....or offer(s) and I want to just use it on one site.

      Let's say the niche is..health

      So let's call it

      Livehealthy.com

      Let's say there's product a, product b, product

      Livehealthy.com/producta
      livehealthy.com/productb

      Each of its own I'd like it to be a unique landing page, where I don't want the banner to be "livehealthy" but moreso the product itself.

    I wish I knew what you were talking about.

    I'm just wondering if I can just go to my ftp and delete some type of code so I can remove the banners and the side bars on word press since I want to create a one page type of site.

    Or is it just better to not use wordpress at all.

    There's a million ways to do it, and if you are determined to do it via WordPress, you'll have to check the settings of your theme.

    Why not create something with raw HTML?

    You can design something really sexy looking with GIMP, and then just upload it in your directory as an html file.

    Otherwise, you'll want to check your theme settings to best optimize your lander.

    For example, the theme I use has different settings IE "blog post" "landing page" etc.

    And depending on what you're doing... A raw html page can potentially load much faster and make your life easier. (And result in a better response).

      That's what I'm thinking of. I started doing online marketing using wordpress 24/7. I guess I got to go back to research as to creating raw HTML.

      Is there a tutorial / site you guys can link where I can go straight to HTML and CSS? Using godaddy in particular.

    Without using plugin/themes you are throwing away some of the best features of wordpress.

    You may as well just come up with your own page IMO.

    If you do want to edit the code, just goto appearance and editor and from there you can modify the theme files
