Do you use your homepage as a landing page or make a seperate landing page targeted to each search term?

Does Google ranking affect quality score?

Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking more in terms of paid traffic and the QS. I'd imagine that a page targeted to the search phrase would get a higher QS, but I haven't really seen any that's specifically targeted, just thought I'd ask. Although I've seen quite a few review type landing pages

    Thanks

From what Ive learned so far, a good way to get good quality scores is to make theme landing pages.

If you use "dog trainnig" and "puppy trainning" as the top keywords...you would want to make 2 landing pages...1 for the keywords related to dog trainnig and 1 for the keywords related to puppy trainning.

Im just saying this in theory from what I've learned so far, I didn't test to see if its actually true.

Yeah, from what I understand that's right, but I haven't seen any advertisers that have search related "themed" landing pages...yet. That's kinda why I wanted to know if people had more success using a "domain" or just create more pages. And if ranking and PR had anything to do with QS.

      Thanks

Agreed! I have a different main domain for each of my landing pages - cost is only $15ish for the domain, private registration, etc., and the consumer feels more comfortable with a real, legit-looking domain!

All the best and good luck to you~~

How much time would you guys average in setting up a landing page for a specific offer? In other words, say I set up a Wordpress blog (because they're fast to set up) would it be ok to look at the merchant's landing page and just grab copy, maybe spin it a little and do you guys use any graphics etc. from the merchant site?

Or, do you simply create your own squeeze page of sorts, ie very little content but a big "CLICK ME" type banner?

    Thanks

I have seen the ugliest landing pages get great conversions and vice versa. The SEO or paid traffic you use to get traffic will only be as successful as the clicks you get to convert.

On my blogs I create a "Review Page" of offers. That works tremendously well because of different ways I can send traffic to it and google loves blogs. (with good content)
yeah i agree with you buddy

google seems to like short, precise landing pages and that also helps your QS. If you already have the home page, then creating a landing page should take much time
