Using Lead Impact to get traffic to a blog smart idea or not

I have a sports related website that I am thinking about targeting some popular sports related sites such as espn. I will not direct link to the blog. I have squeeze page that I would like to advertise with lead impact to collect emails and start promoting a newsletter to get traffic to my website. My way of monetizing the site is with a popular sports cpm advertising network.

    Why not?

You just need to find bids that are cheap enough to back out.

As you're not selling or trying to promote an offer you need to find very cheap clicks.

Have you thought about retargeting? Very cheap!

Is re-targeting available in LI ?

I really don't see this working out too well for you.

With your back end being a sports CPM advertising network, I doubt you'll be able to make PPV profitable for you blog.

    Not to my knowledge.

IMO you might be better odd trying ppc, but it's always worth a shot
