Does Facebook Convert Info Products?
I've got an info product on dating for men.
A few things I've tried that have failed on FB...
1. Loosely targetted sidebar ads split testing HUNDREDS of ad creatives
2. Highly targetted sidebar ads (including interest targetting)
3. Sponsored stories (highly targetting)
4. Mailing to an optin page
5. Mailing to a sales video
6. Cheating the system with re-directs.
I've gotten clicks down to a few cents for the sidebar...
But not one. Single. Sale... None.
This sales video has roughly a 0.5% conversion on targetted Plenty of Fish traffic, yet nada on Facebook.
In fact, I've got over 1000 subscribers on my email list who opted in and were sent to the sales video.
Almost NONE of them ever open emails. Hundreds of subscribers haven't opened or read one email.
And I'll repeat, ZERO of them have purchase anything even after going through an entire 30+ day follow-up sequence with additional offers.
Zero is a very hard number to work with.
Yet at the same time, with all the targetting on FB, I have a very hard time believing there aren't customers on Facebook.
What do you guys think? Is Facebook just awful for these types of offers? Is there no hope? Am I missing the "key trick" to make this work?

I also don't see any competitors or even any information products in general being highly promoted on Facebook... I just see LOADS AND LOADS of dating sites.
