Lead Impact - Absolutely NO Conversions

After doing a lot of reading on this forum, and you guys are great with helping people and giving advice, I decided to give Lead Impact a try. I have now spent close to $400.00 and I have had absolutely no conversions. I called Lead Impact and asked if there are certain types of products that do better on Lead Impact but the person who answered the phone was not very helpful, in fact I think I could have answered the question better than what she did.

I purchased the Affcoach.com Lead Impact & Direct Linking, which is excellent by the way, very easy to understand and put into action, and I followed what he said in the guide. I now have 19 ads running, and no conversions. I have a variety of ads, from weight loss, bankruptcy, gaming, dating (only one dating), infomercial products that are currently running on TV and anti-aging.

They are all direct linking as I suck in building landing pages. So there you have it.

Also with Lead Impact when you get your conversion script, the five digit number that is on the conversion script, is that suppose to be your ID number? Because mine is totally different than my ID number. I am hoping someone knows this answer because I really would hate to have to call Lead Impact again and get some weird answer again.

Thanks and have a GREAT Day.

When you say no conversions do you mean no-one signing up to your list Mary Jean? I have been working with Lead Impact for about 6 weeks now, about 60 people have signed up to my list from there, a little slower than I would have liked but still a success.

DO NOT direct link, ever. Build landing pages, do your homework! Heres an awesome website to build landing pages in like 2 seconds (really simple stuff, like drag and drop). Go to unbounce.com, they have a 30 day free trial also, so no excuse.

    Take care

If the landing page is what you have identified as your problem, I would spend a little more money and hire someone to create one for you.

First of all, I don't know what kind of "lead software" you are using, but I wouldn't use it.

Always ask yourself these two things.

1.) What are the QUALITY of leads that you are getting? What is the source?
2.) Are you giving them enough value and helping them out?

I would defiantly get a landing page.

There are drag and drop methods to build your landing page such as instapage, and you don't have to know any html. I really advise to get a landing page and tweak until you see profits.

Like everyone is saying trying using a landing page.

Also just warning any CPS (Cost Per Sale) offer that cost anything to the consumer will likely not convert without a landing page.

So you weight loss, as-seen on TV offers, ect...

But stick with it, and try not to get too frustrated. You'll be making money soon!

I kind of agree with all this answers but i am running about 10 campaigns that are direct linking that are making me money, but you need to find a good campaign to do that, and like Greedy says, all CPS or trial offers convert better with a LP

    There may be several reasons.

1.what about the conversion rates of the offer pages you are promoting? Maybe the rates are not good enough.

2.the keywords you choose on LeadImpact, if they can bring quality leads

3.direct sales is hard for PPV traffic, you'd better build a squeeze page to collect leads, and then promote your offers in later followup e-mails.

POP ads is a strange beast..you are going to need a lot of money if you re running that many campaigns like you said.

Why are you not using spy tools to see what others are doing to see what is working instead of just buying data? It would be cheaper to spy on people then spend $400.

There are two main mistakes you are doing, one is not using a landing page and another one is going with lots of offers at the same time. Mind you running 19 different offers is not an easy task without knowing the feel of it and more over you have gone with offers from various niches, which is the another big mistake.

Landing page plays a vital role and that is what brings me more profit than direct linking. I too do some direct linking campaigns but there are many things to look into before I run them. One of the main thing is you should have looked in for the size of the offer's landing page and should have checked whether it would have fit into the pop or not. Choose one niche and stick with that and here afterwards start using landing pages for all campaigns.

Aren't you using prosper202 or any other tracker for tracking? Also get an good VPS server, if you are not having one.

Thanks everyone for your help and advice. I have paused all of my campaigns that I had running and I am going to focus on landing pages and choosing products from all of my amazon sites for landing pages, which hopefully then would also increase my traffic to my amazon sites.

I have to start thinking long term and building up repeat customers instead of thinking about making a quick buck, which bit me in the ass. I'll get this going on the right path!!!!!!

    Have a Great Day

Yes landing pages are good and they should be implemented once you have experience, (as per the guide). BUT if you spent $400 and didn't get a single conversion, then let's break it down a bit:

    $400 / 19 offers, (assuming 1 campaign per offer?) = $21.05 per campaign.

If you have say 10 targets per campaign, then that's 10 x 19 = 190 targets you're bidding on across all campaigns. If you take $400 / 190 = $2.10 per target that you've spent.

My point is, macro level number are meaningless. They give an overall picture only. You need to go deeper and ONLY focus on what you spent on EACH target. Then what did you want to spend PER TARGET?

If an offer pays $20, you could say, "I only want to spend 80% of my payout PER TARGET". So that's $18. My rough estimates show you only spend about $2.10 per target at this point, (I don't know any of the necessary details though).

This thread is proof that getting advice on a free forum with limited information will just send you down the next rabbit hole. Eventually you'll give up on PPV and move onto the next shiny object instead of mastering this one which does work.

There is some good advice in this thread, like go with lower payouts and free trials for direct linking. But I don't agree with adding in landing pages yet. I don't agree with adding in complex 3rd party tracking yet either. My keyword is YET!

You need to learn how to manage and optimize campaigns before adding in more layers of complexity that are just going to frustrate you even more at this point in your career.

    Crawl -> Walk -> Jog -> Run

Might be you need a little hand with landing page and also do some serious research with your targated keywords or website and do some split testing
