Ad Networks with a good ROI - Need Suggestions

I have an online retail store with a variety of products; everything from Coffee Pots to Digital Cameras. Does anyone have suggestions for good ad networks to try? We've got a good list of them but hardly know where to start. We've tried a few with little success; Google was a bust, Looksmart seemed to generate activity but no one converts, Infolinks users just land on our page and dis-appear without doing anything, Clicksor generates activity but again lacks in conversions.

We've done a run with the Cost Comparison Shopping Engines, receive conversions however in the end we spend more than what we bring in.

So, I am kind of wondering is it us or is it them? Is it our website, is it the quality of traffic they are sending or is it our ads? Maybe it's a little bit of everything but we have put a lot of man hours into our site making as many improvements as possible to increase conversion rates.

Well if you know if any other Ad Networks to try or even have a bit of advice, I appreciate the input.

If you are online retail store most online ad avenues aren't going to work to well, do to you low conversion rates.

For your first campaigns, start by using retargeting in Facebook Ads, and Google Adwords. You can re-advertise to people who have came to your already site organically. Also with Facebook Ads your can re-target to an e-mail list. This can work good, and will give you the highest ROI potential.

The other major step I would focus on is getting your website converting at the absolute maximum possible. This will take testing and research. But well worth it.

Next I would go back to Google Adwords PPC, and commit to mastering. Also depending on your niche media buying may work.

    Good Luck!

The process will take work, but if you are doing something you love it is worth it.

I'm kind of shocked that google didn't work well for you. You could possibly try bing or maybe even facebook ads if you can target based on what your site is about
