Facebook Ad Says Active But Its Not Running??

I've been having the same issue with my account. I'm setting up campaigns, getting ads approved, but not getting any impressions at all. It's weird. Monday = no traffic, Tuesday = good traffic, used budget, Wednesday = back to very little traffic.

Like you I had an ad with a big target, high bid, big enough budget, no billing issues, yet still no impressions. My CTRs have always been good as well.

Folks I think the problem is you are targeting 3million !!! Which is not really targeting and you are not getting any clicks that is why it appears as if it is not working.. Lower your audience to below 100k. I found an audience of 50k gets results and cheap CPC. This next bit is for all warriors who want to advertise on facebook but dont know how, PM me I am about to begin a new service offering HIGHLY TARGETED AUDIENCES for facebook in ANY NICHE.

I am having the same issue with targets whether they are 700K or 50K.

You need to raise your cost per click or CPM rates as it may be much less than the min rate to trigger your ad

Ok guys well the ads finally started running and im paying 56 cents a click in the relationship niche. I guess I need to narrow my audience? But then my stupid ad will not even run if I drop below 1 million potential people.

NO! You need to create 20+ ads to find those with high CTR and your click price will go down. I have relationship niche ad targeting 3M people ,max bid 0.39 getting 4% CTR paying 0.07 a click.

EDIT: And this is NOT custom audience(scraped UID's) :p

Sometimes it happens, Facebook takes some time (up to 48h based on my experience) to start sending traffic. I don't know exactly why it happens, but it's unusual.

IMO, the best is to wait until the traffic starts coming.

It has nothing to do with the size of your audience and you don't have to go that broad to get impressions and clicks.

They didn't start running, they always were.

HEre's something you need to know:

STATS ARE NOT REALTIME EVER PERIOD

So many get hung up because they don't know that. They're delayed.

In case anyone is confused by PPC response, stats are typically delayed up to about 45 minutes on Facebook...not days or even 5 hours in almost all cases.

It is NOT because of how large of an audience you're targeting, don't worry about that. For example I have an ad running right now targeting 7 million people and I'm getting cheap clicks.

It's simply because Facebook likes to take time. If you're bidding "manual CPC" then always start higher and drop it accordingly.

Regardless, this is something I'm used to already. Some ads run right away, and some take forever, just the way Facebook is.

That situation is happening to me right now, my ad campaigns stopped running 8 hours ago, got no impressions. Tried to stop/start again but could not help.

New campaigns get approved but the status is PAUSED, i have to start manually but still no Reach.

FB could burn my daily budget if they start my ads again at the end of the day with high CPC :/
