Wordpress users

Hi guys.
I started my blog two months ago and since then I've been getting tons of subscribers and users to my blog.
Considering that my blog isn't popular at all, I don't know why all these people continue to register to my site.

Anyone had this experience before? Are they real people or is it just a bot or something?

Hope all these people are real because then I would be able to monetize that huge list.

    They are bots. You should disable user registrations or use a good captcha plugin

    Yep it's bots. There's people that buy spammer scripts to sign up from WP blogs then post comments with links in them automatically. It's annoying but some people never learn that this crap does not work.

    It is possible that many are bots. You might want to add google analytics to your site and monitor the traffic closer

      Basically what everyone else said.

      Also it's not uncommon to get tons of comments that look like people could have said something much easier... they use article spinners and submit them to thousands of blogs. It's a pain in the ass but it's just part of the game.
