Need some feedback on my 1st POF campaign.

I'm about to start my first POF campaigns and would like to hear some last thoughts before I give it a go.

My current set up:
Prosper202 on a SSD VPS
Dating offer targeting 40+
Direct linking (I'm not yet familiar with email building and how to manage it so I will pass LP's for now)
Campaigns split as 40-49, 50-59, 60-65+ (Different Male and Female)
Targeting by Country, Age, Gender, Children and Marital Status
50 110x80 Creatives (5 images, and 10 different text ).

As far as I understood the most important part are the images so I got 5 different images with pairs from that website, I'm not sure if I should add more images, or change images.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

    Honestly, after reading this, i cannot poke many holes in this. It sounds like you have a good plan with most of the pieces in place.

    I would definitely use a LP for 40+ demos...Higher bids too.

      I don't really see the reason behind building a landing page unless you build a list, the LP of the offers looks quite good so I'm not going to stress people doing more steps to get to the registration point.

        Test it. I guarantee your ROI will be greater w/a LP. Just use it to presell. Don't worry about lists for now.

          Landing pages aren't just for building email lists. I had this mindset that it was an extra step but when I started making them my conversions almost instantly started increasing. Consider using them. You're also pre-selling the offer to them.

          Second, as Greedy said, more images. You should always be adding more images & creatives to POF campaigns and testing CTR, etc.

          That's not to say that you're in bad shape though. You seem to have sat down and actually read up on advertising with POF. You're in good shape! Use the thread to keep us posted with updates!

            Glad to hear it! Idk how others feel about this but IMO I would focus more on testing different images. Maybe do two different text variations on images, but for the most part I focus on changing the image in the creatives. POF campaigns are unique in that they nearly always need to be tweaked and kept up to date with images, you can always improve with them. Anyways, I'm very impressed that this is your first campaign, as you appear to have done many things correctly where others typically go wrong.

            Let us know what you decide with the landing pages and how the images perform!

        Landing pages are def counter intuitive. You will see alot of dating and almost all adult landers are multi step (4 clicks to the offer) and in my experience they always perform better than a 1 click lander or direct linking. Even though CTRs can be lower, conversion rates are higher. Go figure.

        I would also suggest that you test multiple offers. The offer is THE most important piece of the puzzle. It doesn't matter how great your ads/landers are if your offer doesn't convert. If your offer is 40+, try other 40+ offers on diff networks or even test mainstream offers using your lander to tie in the 40+ angle.

        I don't do POF so take this with a grain of salt but I tend to work in the reverse order of what's being suggested. First test offers to find the best, then test landers for best CVR and then test the crap out of the ads. You can test hundreds of images and ad texts but if your funnel doesn't work, you don't make no $$.

    My initial reaction would be ad images, and more take some time to learn to make landing pages, but you have a very clear plan which is good.
