Warriors,

I've currently been using Peerfly to promote CPA offers Via POF (Plenty of fish) and i have made around $20 promoting the Mate1 website which converts $4.25 per new lead that signs up for the free dating site.

The problem I'm seeing and I'm sure many of you have come across this hurdle, is that I've put in around $50 (which has now all gone) all my campaigns are targeted at the right people and i have tested 5 different ones using different images and text, also spread evenly through the day.

My question is, should i sack this offer off? obviously I've lost money but I'm hearing that many different things on what to do I'm just feeling a little lost ..

If anyone would just give me straight forward advice on this it would be much appreciated. I'm not asking for you to do the work for me just a pointer in the right direction and would be great.

Also, is it better to promote the higher payout offers? ones ranging from $30 $50 $100 per lead?? if you know what i mean.

I've also been accepted into Max Bounty and Adscend media but I'm just running with Peerfly at the moment or would it be a good idea to change?

Thank You.

How many images have you tested and what sort of CTR are you seeing?

As far as the higher payouts, I didn't have any luck with them when I was still using POF.

You'll need to test more images than 5 if that is what you are saying here?

    Thanks for your reply people..

My CTR for today is between 0.017% and 0.070% over the 5 different campaigns.

The images i tested are mostly of women, unprofessional pictures as these attract more people, supposedly and one is a professional looking banner that i created.

Any of these things wrong? thanks

eeek, more images, way more images. Your CTR should be .1-.12 MINIMUM
Just throw some stuff together an upload them, it won't take you longer than 5-10 minutes per image. But you need at least another 20 images to be split testing.

aaah i see so you're saying i should be split testing with at least 20 different campaigns? because it can really eat into the funds. I understand the whole "trial and error" thing but how much should be spent on split testing? because on POF the minimum is 0.16 and for "quality traffic" my click bid was around 0.25-0.30 per click but they suggest 0.40 +...

        Thanks

Just split test by adding different creatives to your campaigns. You don't have to create 20 campaigns, but create at least 20 images within those campaigns. As far as bids go the sweet spot is generally .43 - .83 depending on your offer and targeting. You can always split test campaigns with different bids. POF tells you though that the lower bids get shown to a less responsive group of users. And yeah, it's not cheap, but that's just part of internet marketing. If you run the split tests properly and find out what works, you can profit. Read some of the POF guides on here cause they'll help you figure out proper targeting to achieve higher CTR. After that, the images are up to you.

As far as how much should be spent on split testing, nobody really has an answer for that. Run the tests until you find something that converts. Most people shut images down once they go 1,000 impressions without a click.

Yes, you will need to be doing a lot of split testing. That is why most people recommend a budget of $800+ for Paid Ads. It takes a lot trail and error and a learning curve.

This is typically what is required, there isn't a formula to success per say, it's more or less testing and trial and error. It can get expensive, but it's unfortunately what is needed to find a winner
