How legit is CJ! My account got closed for no reason!

Got a question about CJ (commission junction). I've had a coupon site up and running, used their API to upload coupons to my site, a month had passed and my account got shut down for no reason. No explanation was provided, they said that I violated one of the terms of the offer that I was running or something like that and my account was closed.

How can I keep track of hundres of offers that I was running and remember all the terms?!

Now the question is, I have registered a new account and want to run just several offers that I can keep good eye on, will they shut my account down, by seeing my name and address? What do you suggest! Please help me out, the offers that I have only CJ has! Thank you!

I can't speak to how or why you got banned (never used CJ before), but I can tell you that re-registering using your same information will probably get you red flagged, and banned quickly.

Have you tried giving them a call yet? Or rather any attempt to learn why you were banned and if it is something that can be reversed. You could plead ignorance and maybe they'd give you another shot at it.

    Good luck.

Just call them and they'll reactivate it. if you can make them money, they'll bring you back on board by any means

IMO you're better off calling them and explaining the situation and seeing if you can come to an agreement to get your account back opposed to trying a new account.

Definitely give them a call as everyone has already said. Atleast then even if they don't reactivate your account you will know the reason.

Not much you can do if they shut down your appeal, you can make another account but most likely they'll ban you again, especially if you are doing something shady.

Change up the way your generating traffic or move on.

At this point, I'm afraid that's probably true.

I would check out other networks, such as Share-a-Sale. You may even be lucky enough to find the same merchant. I wouldn't recommend using the same promotional methods however, as it will likely continue to get you suspended.

I would just move on at this point. No use slowing down your business over split milk.

Have you tried to get exact reason because of that your account is suspended, because I don't think CJ will suspend your account without any genuine reason...

Contact them - see what they say as to why you were shut down. If they still owe you money for campaigns you ran by the books, take them to the small claims court. They can't ignore it

Any questions just let me know,

Well couple of days ago I had a sale for over $100, so I dont' want to drop them, they're the only ones that have the offer that I need. I need a wise advise as to what to here in this case, I dont' want to make them money and have them close my account becuse I've opened another one, could that be the case?

As I have mentioned they said that I have violated one of the terms of one of the offers that I was running, but as mentioned earlier I used API code to upload all the offers to my coupon site, so I couldn't possibly read all the terms and condition of 100's of offers that I've ran. Don't know exactly what I have violated, but possible my pages started to rank on keywords like "petco" that got my account suspended, I dont know for sure, they just said I violated the terms, wheren't specific about it.

You keep saying you couldn't possibly read all the terms and conditions of all your offers but that is exactly what you have a responsibility to do. If you don't want to get banned from a network or advertiser you absolutely must abide by their terms or you can't complain when you get kicked off.

You still don't seem to have learned your lesson from this since you are still making excuses for it that are not valid. Do yourself a favor and face your mistakes so that you don't keep committing them and ruin your business.

Linkshare.com has very similar offers and structure to cj.com

I would recommend setting up an account with them. Also you can use Offervault.com to identify the exact offers that you were promoting with cj.com through a different Affiliate/CPA network. This will allow you to continue to earn on your existing niche sites.

But you situation clearly highlights the fact of why you never want to have all your eggs in one basket.
