Google Keyword Tool Search Volume Discrepancy

I have never noticed this before and I don't quite understand why but...

When I search for a longtail keyword on the Keyword tool by Google, it will give me different search volume depending on which email I am logged in as. One email was giving me 9k monthly searches while the other is giving me 18k monthly.

Any idea what causes this and why? I searched and googled my question but can't seem to find anything on it...

    Its weird. Did you check or try to change the geographic location? have you tried any other tool ?

      I've only ever used that one, do you happen to know any other useful keyword tools off the top of your head? I really do not want to pay for one until I am actually making a return off my blog (haha.) I liked the old Google Tool much better, I didn't change any settings or location, it simply changed search volume!
