Newbie question - Difference between PPC and PPV

Hi Warriors, Probably this is a newbie question, but I just wanted to understand and confirm the difference between PPC an PPV channels. Per my understanding PPV is pay per view and PPC is pay per click. So in case of PPV you are charged by number of impressions and for PPC you are charged when some one clicks on the adv. Google I believe is both PPC and PPV , right ? Which are some of the good PPV networks to get started, which do not require much initial desposit( I mean under 50 USD)

thanks

    PPC - Pay per click

    PPV - Pay per view

Google is only PPC, the best PPV are TrafficVance and LeadImpact.

They are two different types of traffic sources..

PPC - Pay per click. Typically used on search engines, you place an ad and you will get charged when someone clicks on your ad.

PPV - Pay per view. This is typically pop-up/pop-under, you will target keywords and/or urls, when someone visits a site your pop-up will trigger and it will take the visitor to the landing page specified in your campaign. You get charged each time that someone is shown the landing page.
