Creating a landing page and showing it to your AM.

Hello,

I am now 100% convinced that creating your own landing page before you direct your user to the offer has a lot of pros versus cons...

Now my other question...

Some aff network needs to see or approve your custom landing page.

So yeah... I saw some guys that creates landing page for you for a costly $100/hr rate... and some even more... (I cannot even believe it)

If for example I pay a $500 for a very powerful landing page... and I am supposed to show it to my account manager... would that be safe?

I mean... how sure am I that my Account Manager will not copy/steal my $500 landing page?

Many people will copy your landing page in the future if it's effective... I have seen many of the pages I created being used by others out there... I even see some guys who post questions about their campaigns here and are using my landing pages!

Your affiliate manager is your friend. Your competitors are not. Internert marketing is about being creative and creating innovative solutions all the time. So, create the lander, take the maximum out of it and when it lose performance, create a new one. That's how it works.

Oh, and btw, it's probably not necessary to spend $500+ on landing pages when starting your first campaigns. You can get some templates or wordpress plugin, study some copywriting and create your own landers. Test them, watch them closely and optimize them for better performance.

It might be easier said than done, but you need to get over the fear of someone ripping your lp, if it's successful and running long enough, then it's going to happen. I would never pay that much for a landing page, that just doesn't sound like a good idea. If you can't create one yet, make sure you start t learn html and php, and in the meantime try using templates and customizing the content.

Thanks a lot guys. I guess there is no way around it.

I know for sure that $500 LP is way too much... but hey if that LP gives you back $99999 then why not right?

I have read about optimizepress and optimizely as well.. both costs some money... but it gives you a way to create multiple LP... the optimizepress video really gave me an eye opening... it was expressed too well... of how importance an LP is...

Google has a product called... wait for it... "Google Web Designer"... and it allows you to quickly build out landing pages (and banners). I've tinkered around with it a little bit, but with my coding skills I just pretty much hand code all my landing pages.

You should just take the time to learn how to make your own landing pages. Start with templates and build off of them.

Every campaign I make I test at least 3 different variations of landing pages.

Also like everyone knows every campaign is not successful.

So you could easily be sending $1,500+ on landing page development on a failed campaign.

I wouldn't trust anyone selling you a landing page. Because if they could write good sales pitches for a niche they would just be focusing on their advertising and CPA marketing, not selling landing pages. So it makes me wonder how good their LPs are.

Sorry for the rant just a common mistake I see beginners make. I wouldn't worry about your affiliate manager Account Manager copying your campaign, they are there to work with you. They see many pages everyday, if you are new, there are better pages for them to copy just kidding, but your affiliate manager is on your team.
