Looking for best CPC/CPM/CPA network

Hi,

I have a website that was recently banned by Adsense (I HATE Google!!!) and am now looking for alternatives to monetize my site.

My site is in the entertainment/humor niche and was previously making 1k+ per month with Adsense.

These are some basic stats:

40k UV/Month
600k Pageviews/Month
85% US, UK, CA, AU traffic
40% Bounce Rate
5:00 Minute Average Time on Site

I have tried a few different CPC and CPM networks already (Chitika, Adversal, EPOM, etc...) and none of these networks pay anything CLOSE to Adsense.

Now I am not naive, I know Adsense pays better than most other alternatives, but I didn't think they paid 10 times more than everyone else (That seems a little odd to me).

So I am just looking for a little bit of help here.

Does anyone know a good Adsense alternative (Can be CPC, CPM or CPA) that will have a eCPM near $1?

I really appreciate any input!
#cpa #cpc #cpc or cpm or cpa #cpm #network

I know a lot of ad networks that are better than adsense in terms of CPM....

however, I do not think you will get accepted.

    Here is one example:

Tribalfusion - they require 500,000 U/V per month.. (you only have 40k...)

I could suggest you to go ahead and try casalemedia and valueclickmedia...

keep your fingers cross though... they are also very picky...

It is going to be tough to find a network that meets adsense, one of the reasons they pay so much is it costs so much to advertise on their network. This is because of the sheer volume of advertisers.

All you really can do is test different networks until you find one that works well with your traffic.

We use CPMStar on our gaming site along with our own ad network and that has done well for us because our traffic reacts well to this combination. We are not bringing in thousands a month but we never have, but we are doing better than we were with adsense.

    Some alternate ideas would be...

    - Building a Good Newsletter
    - Charging for Premium Content
    - Build an App with in-app purchases

Also look at what your competitors are doing, you can learn a lot!

i'm in the same boat man. not banned by adsense, but pretty much scared to put it on my main site that gets the most traffic, because then i'll end up banned and ruin it for my smaller niche sites.

really considering beginning my own ad network, mostly to optimize my own ads on my own sites better, then perhaps to branch off to other publishers/buyers.

just can't find a moderately affordable software to power my mini network.

Exactly what I did. Started my own network and it has already paid for itself. With the built in exchange I already had advertisers showing ads on my sites.

In 5 months we have grown our network to more publishers and have several new advertisers already.

You can try to look/search for some ad networks here:

    adnetworkdirectory.com
    adswiki.net

I would really try to stick with the bigger networks (with high Alexa ranking). New networks come and go everyday, because the barrier of entry is so low and everyone can just form a network and broker out campaigns/traffic. You don't want to be caught with sending traffic to a new/small network then have them close up shop before paying you.

From what I see, the pageviews/visit on your site does affect the CPM rates you get. You have to understand how ad rotations work from networks. Top rotations pay the highest CPM, then trickles down, etc. If you set up your site up so that you milk pageviews per user, the overall CPM will be dragged down by the lower ad rotations.

The best way to monetize a website is to get an adserver, or if you can't afford one, set up a waterfall with multiple networks. For example, send Network 1 traffic on a 1/24 freq cap, and send them a pass back tag to Network 2. Send Network 2 traffic on a 1/24 basis, and a pass back to Network 3, and so on and so forth.

Most big sites and top sites don't work with one single network, but multiple networks so they can milk the top rotation CPMs from each network to maximize overall earnings and CPMs.

I work for AdSupply.com and we are always looking for quality publishers to join our network. We can monetize users world wide, offer net 30 publisher payouts, and have a number of great ad units to choose from. scott@adsupply.com reach out to me and we can discuss in more detail.

What about buysellads? I've seen plenty of sites with less traffic than yours in there, and they generally get paid at least $4/cpm

Why only cpc? You can monetize it as an affiliate, Amazon for example. What kind of audience you target? What niche you are in?

I also agree with Project, Amazon Associate service can work great, along with other affiliate projects like CJ ect... And then there is also CPA Networks if that is something you are interested in.

All these ideas can be combined with an Adsense alternative.

Best network? You have to compare networks with your traffic and find with one suits for you best. If you go in to CPM you need to consider popunders.

I don't think any one other than adsense will pay you more for advertising.
some locals are there but frankly they are not more reliable.

To be honest none is close to adsense. Just because Google is the king. You may try to promote some related affiliate product or sell media by putting an advertise here page on your site.

    Thanks
