7Search - "minimum bid $0.05, phrase $0.05, broad $0.05"

I lowered my bid for a 7Search keyword and when I tried to save the bid, the following error appeared:
... minimum bid $0.05, phrase $0.05, broad $0.05
If there is a minimum bid of 5 cents for that keyword, how do my competitors have bids of 1 and 2 cents for that same keyword?

Thanks.
#7search

Some keywords are min 0.05, others are 0.01. You can try to modify them one by one, one at a time

Hey man I wasted money with 7search my self. Is it just bad traffic you get there? do have any other ppc networks that you would recommend

Bing PPC is quality traffic in my experience.

owen2012, thank you for the advice, but I think that if other guys can make it work, I can do it, too.

I understand, but look at my case:

In the first attached picture, there's the error that appears when I try to bid less than $0.05.
In the second attached picture, you can see other guys' bids of 1-2 cents for this keyword.

      How is that possible?

Then how did my competitors bid 1-2 cents for the keyword? That's the thing I don't understand - I can't bid less than 5 cents while they can.

I had some other stuff to do, so I haven't really tested any campaigns in 2 weeks or so. I see that you're interested in this, so I'll send you a PM as soon as I get a positive ROI and some decent earnings. However, I can't promise when or even whether this will happen.

P.S. In case someone finds this thread and has the same question I asked in my first post here - the 7Search support told me that "The lower bids you see for this keyword is for RON". If you don't know what RON is, here you go.

I've only dabbled with 7search in 2011 and 2012 with cpa offers and I made money. So it is doable but I never was able to make a clickbank offer work though. My main business is brokering I.T. equipment and liquidations so I am not an expert but I'm sure you can make 7search work.

You can´t while you set up the campaign... but you can once the campaign is approved and running.

If 7search does not work, why its still around?
many people make it work with successful campaigns on CPA or CPS
just because you wasted 3000 without any conventions or positive ROI is result of your marketing skills only

I agree with Owen on this one, use Bing rather that 7search. You will spend more, but make more money if you have a decent product. In the past 10 years, Bing and Yahoo have been by far the best dollar spent on PPC.
