Can I use FB Ads to point to an Amzn Aff url?

I've been searching on both Amazon and FB discussion boards, trying to read through ToS, etc., and can't find an answer, so I'm turning to the experts on the WF.

I have my own product that I sell through Amazon (Fulfilled By Amazon).

I want to advertise it on Facebook.

I know that I CAN use my own Amazon Affiliate ID to link to my own product. (Thus increasing the money I make on each of my product sales.)

What I don't know is if I'm allowed to link directly to my Amazon Affiliate url in my Facebook Ad.

As far as I can tell, it violates neither the FB nor the Amzn ToS.

But I'd love to hear confirmation from you guys.

Or, if you suggest something else, like driving people to a FB Page first, etc., I'd love to know why.

Edit - I found this thread: http://www.warriorforum.com/social-m...ebook-ads.html That says that it's against Amazon's ToS, but seemed there might be some doubt.

    So...

    I just called Amazon for the definitive answer. (I didn't realize how easy they are to get in touch with.)

    It took some explaining, but they very definitely DO NOT ALLOW ads to point directly to your Amazon affiliate link.

    The proper solution for this situation is to create a FB page about the product, create affiliate links to the product from the FB page, then run ads that boost the page.
