Does Prosper202 Install Ad Popups On Your Landing Page?

Either my developer added some sort of BS advertising on my site or prospers free version loads pop-ups on landing pages. When I clear my cookies and reload my landing page chrome blocks a popup coming from click202(dot com)tracking202/redirect. Whats up with that? Is it prosper or my developer being shady? I am on a mac, so I don't think it could be adware on my computer.

Freelancer, but I have monitored the coding. I think it was because a bad prosper link was used. I am assuming if the link is bad their pop-up will appear.

Ah yeah that too. Cancelled tracking202 accounts redirect all traffic to an account cancelled page that has a popup

The landing page is 100% original by me and I did the graphic design, so that cannot be it. I think he was using a made-up lp "id" to test and that came up. Whats up with having a pop-up on cancelled accounts to sell email marketing services though? I don't like that...

You are free to like or not like what I decide to do with traffic from cancelled accounts.

But just because you don't like it doesn't take away from the fact that:

            1.) It's a canceled account,
            2) The user isn't paying me for the traffic and bandwidth that's going through my servers.
            3) They didn't think about the fact that it costs me money, because they didn't shut of all their traffic.

So I can and will do whatever I see necessary to cover my costs.

Prosper202 doesn't load anything on anyone's landing pages.

That said, the domain with the popup is from the hosted tracking202.

I think one of the folioing happened:
    1. Someone on the hosted tracking202 service is targeting your landing page with popups
    2. You scraped/or your developer copied a hosted tracking202 user's landing page and didn't remove the js etc
    3. I don't know

popups are clearly there to create awareness if the account is cancelled and you should register a new one.

Lol.... Looks like I offended you a little bit over here; don't take it personally, just stating my opinion. I think it's great what prosper has done for affiliate marketing!
