Hi everyone,

I've just seen this in the terms of an offer- first time I've seen this although was aware this can be the case. Assuming this means you can't bid on the company name?

How stringent/able are the networks in checking on this? does anyone have any experience on what people have tried and been banned, therefore a straight no

If this is stated, I'd stay far away from doing this, often the merchants will keep a close key on people infringing on their trademark and if caught you def will not be paid (and possibly face a ban, etc)

Yes, it can get your account banned. It isn't too hard for them check up on it. It isn't worth it in the long term.

  another related question is where I found there is a similar point made "Cannot use the words - free, win, won, winner, claim, etc." , but this time in the "description" instead.
  
  Can someone tell me if just so I'm sure, that in this case I can bid for these terms, but not use these terms in the ad copy/headline, and in the original post I made it's the other way round where I I can't bid on those terms but I can use them in the ad copy/headline?
