Thanks to this forum I figured out how to track a URL redirect w/ Google Analytics successfully using Go Daddy....not sure exactly gave the correct info, but it worked like a charm

      Sure its actually VERY simple.....instead of doing a forward/mask....you instead get a hosting account....add the domain to the hosting account...set up a URL/Redirect in the control panel.....then add a piece of html code in your home page inside your files that also includes your Analytics tracking ID


      i used godaddy....very easy
