Desings LPs / Nice CTR - Bad Conv

Hi warriors!

I wanted to ask two questions:

1. about of LPS (in your experience, it is best to make a simple page like a page of a background color, with text like "get a $ 1000 gas card" or something more elaborate and having the same design that the offer?)

2 for good CTR and bad conv (why in a landing page that has between 20 and 60% CTR no convs?)

thx...!

    1. Depends on the ad network in my option, and also depends on the offer. Both style has worked successfully for me, and other. And at the end of the day you are going to test a few landing pages. I would test both styles, along with going direct. (Never hurts.)

    2. How many offers are you testing? Sound the offer isn't that great, or you are over selling things on LP. But it sounds like it is the offer. How many clicks did you send to it?

It depends on your traffic source and offer..

I find often with banner ads and ppv, the ugly pages sometimes get a better ctr than the nice ones

If your CTR is high but your conversions are lacking, it could mean your targeting is off, your ad/lp has misleading information, or the offer isn't converting (try other offers)
