PPC advertising is it worth it for me?

Hello!

I have a blog on blogger but on my own domain name, 90% of my traffic is from my YouTube channels and the rest is google for the main part.

My budget to start would be low so I can trial how it works and if it works. Probably around 1-2 dollars per day ( i know very low) so I am wondering which PPC network would suite my low budget? Any advise would be appreciated. I get around 2-3K uniques per day.

        Hi,

Sorry for the delay, yes around 2-3k per day at present.

I use adsense, which varies between 5-25 GBP per day. Weekends toward the higher amount.

I also use a CPA network pertinent to my niche, which generates anything from 0-50 dollars per day.

    What niche are you in?

I suggest you try Facebook. You can get quality clicks for as low as $0.10, if you do it properly.

But don't underestimate organic traffic. Do some keyword research (I use LongTail Pro) and make a great content oround some long tails. You can rank pretty fast!

      Hey thanks,

I am often concerned because my traffic is 90 plus percent YouTube. I want more organic traffic I can only see a small amount coming in from google.

Im in the movie niche but its also a disney fan page all in one. I would guess my seo is not too good. Ive been relying too much on YT traffic i think.

I will look at that longtail pro thanks.

What is your goal for using ppc? To drive up traffic? To make money? Both?

If you are getting traffic from Youtube I would assume you are making blog post with the videos... try transcribing the video to text. This will help with Google and SEO.

I actually am uploading videos to my blog and hosting them there as theyre under 100mb. But recently i signed up to a trial with brightcove video hosts and have 3 full movies on my blog hosted by them! My youtube channel has no videos that are on my blog. But in every yt video i link to my blog and i have over 100 videos...

Also, I do wonder if giving the full movie is a good idea, I mean yes they will love it but it probably reduces their desire to click my CPA advert, perhaps I should change the text to say sign up free here for more free movies or something. Currently i have a small banner under each video.

There are just 3 full movies the rest are 25 minutes approx, so maybe on these ones I could put watch the full version here...

    Hey there,
You can use Facebook Ads as your PPC campaign. You can get quality highly targeted traffic for as little as 10 cents (around 5 pence) a click. If you don't mind me asking, how are you planning to get a ROI on the campaign?

      Hi,

Yes people have mentioned FB, how does it work though? Its not the same as boosting a facebook post on your fanpage is it? Well, my campaign comprises of a CPA network. I get commission on free sign ups. Also adsense is an income via YT videos and my blog.
