I was just wondering where most people set there profit margin's when deciding how much to spend vrs how much they make. I saw some guy selling his make money plan a while back and the guy was spending 10 grand a month on ads to make a 2 grand profit. That seems a lot to to spend to me but at the same time he has 2 grand profit. Where do you draw the line.

Really depends on where you are

For instance, let's say you have a email marketing based business that brings in $30k per month in profit. If you also doing paid traffic and only making $2k on a $10k spend, it's not a big deal. But if you're not in that situation, yeah, I would not be happy with $2k profit on $10k spend

That's where you really have to be careful when you hear people making claims about how they make $50k a day or whatever. What's their spend? If it's $49,500 a day, well, that changes things (although that is still a much better living than you are going to make doing just about anything else)
