Get people's E-mail & Country - Before continuing to the offer.

5 replies
Hey everyone,

So I recently started a blog to promote CPA offers and what I'd like to do is place a page before the offer, where they will have to enter their E-mail and their country in order to continue to the offer.

I want to track what traffic passes through only 1 link, where the offer is allowed in more than one country and of course, I need the E-mail and the country of each person who completes the offer afterwards.

I've been reading a lot about this, but I'm still a bit confused as to how to do this.

So if any of you know about this, It would awesome since it would help me track my traffic more precisely.

Thanks!

    I'm not sure exactly of your overall goal so there maybe a better way to go about doing things, but all you would need to do is after the user enters their email and country pass, their email and country into the offer via sub-ids and then look in your sub-id tracking in your CPA Network to see what converts.

    If you don't know how sub-ids work, just do a quick google.

      Thanks Greedy, I've been reading about sub-ids but never used them before..

      What I'd like to know is if, I make a link for one person to promote my offer, so I want to include his/her e-mail address and how much will I pay them per lead.

      "s1=email-address@gmail.com"
      And on s2 I put what I want to pay them for a lead, so let's say it's $1
      "s2=1.00"

      My CPA link should be like this?
      "http://www.CPA-Network.com/lnko=26&c=233&a=1000&s1=email-address@gmail.com&s2=1.00

      After I make this link with s1 & s2.
      And that person generates a lead...

      Then that lead shows up on my CPA Network, but will it show when I click on sub ids:
      - the person's email and what I want to pay them on there? s1 and s2 alongside with the number of leads generated.

      It would be great if all of this is correct

      Thank you!

    You want people to opt-in and then go to the offer, right?

    If so, what you want to do is lead capturing with an autoresponder such as Aweber or Get Response. You build a landing page with an opt-in form and integrate that page with the autoresponder, which will store people's info after they opt-in and redirect them to a thank you page or affiliate link.

    If you're new to CPA, I think lead capturing isn't a very simple task. So I'd start with a different type of campaign. I know this isn't what you're asking, though.

      Yes, that's exactly my idea, will try to read more about this. Thanks williamrs

      Although what I'd like to do is to set up the sub ids with Google Analytics, so that I can track every link I promote.

    Be careful having other drive you leads into your CPA account many networks don't allow it.

    Just test your sub-id link and see if the click shows up. You'll probably have to remove the @ and .
