CPL can be very profitable!

I've been in the marketing stream for a while now and I must say I can't believe how many people are truly becoming RICH from CPL and CPA offers. I have been doing decent with CPL on the smaller payout offers. I tend to be able to drive hundreds of people to the free samples, surveys for pay and similar offers rather than getting even a handful of people to make purchases. Does anyone else utilize the lowering pay free offer leads instead of the high payout sales offers?

    yes sure!!

    It doesnt really matter. If you do Adwords/PPC "lower" is relative.

    A campaign which PAYS $37/lead/sale and where a click costs me $0.85 can be less profitable than a campaign for a simble submit where i "only" get $2.75 but i pay $0.06 per click!!

    In fact, my most sucessful campaign is exactly such a campaign!

    A big THANKS to you GeorgR! After reading the threads here I was starting to wonder if I was drifting off into my own little corner of marketing. I have found that I can make more on a survey that pays $2.50 per lead than I can on a $40 per sale offer. In fact, with the free trials, surveys and samples, I tend to get up to 50 times the traffic that I would opposed to the sales. I've always known though, that people LOVE FREE STUFF.
