anyone got any good recommendations for a course on learning display advertising?

I am trying to scale up traffic from google and also looking at other display networks like sitescout etc?

thanks

I would stick to Google's display advertising as they pretty much cover the whole market already. Word of caution in regards to display: the leads generated from display are generally of 50% lesser quality than Email or PPC generated ones, so make sure that any offer you promote still keeps your merchant happy.

Remember, there is a fine line between Quality and Quantity

Any questions just let me know,

      thanks badboy...good advice.

      I am the merchant.

My strategy is to get lots of clicks in the beginning and then start to optimize when I have some data.

Hopefully I can get the quality up after that.

      thanks again

Whatrunswhere is better than any course. Spending a couple of weeks playing around with that (especially traffic sources by advertiser) will give you some great insights and save testing money.

    Hi,

There are plenty of helpful research papers on IAB's website - here's a link: Display advertising resources | IAB UK

    Hope that helps!

Google's display network is one of the best service I have used so far. Apart from that what ever other tools are there, its better to look after that how much traffic they would provide you or what would be their traffic per day would matter a lot.
