Ad Server. Looking for an Adzerk Replacement

Evening all....

Now with Adzerk giving everyone two months notice before they are kicked off the platform I'm on the lookout for an ad server. It absolutely must serve email ads which one of my clients requires.

I'm not against installing OpenX / Revive on my VPS if that's what it takes. I'd prefer SaaS though as I know there were a few security breeches in OpenX.

What are the recommendations?

    Hi,

Revive Adserver is the best option and also it's a cost effective solution. If you're going to use SAAS, you have to pay setup fee and then monthly charges depends upon the CPC.

Coming to the Revive Ad-sever, It's a one time solution and there is no monthly charges for CPC,CPM and CPA. you can deploy the source directly in your Ad server and you can customize, as per your client requirements. You can also get the complete report based on Geographic.

There are lots of companies providing Openx/Revive Ad server mods to set up their own Ad networks. You can check openxmods.com site because they have lots of mods
based on Openx for Small medium Enterprise to improve the performance of their Ad server.

Coming to the Ad server, Djax providing Ad server for web, mobile and video along with 6 months support.I would strongly recommend you to use Openx instead of SAAS.

A lot of AdZerk uses were going to Revive according to their own blog post recently. The problem however with Revive is that you have to manage potential issues that can arrise when using your own physical server. A nice recap between using free ad server software and SaaS hosted software can be found here: https://www.adglare.com/adserver/art...nager-software If you want to go for a cheap solution, go for Revive. But since you already indicated that you prefer to go for a SaaS solution, I can mention a few ad serving solutions:

AdGlare (AdGlare | Ad server software for publishers) which is free up to a certain number of monthly impressions. They have a checkout portal where your advertisers can purchase ads on your website directly via PayPal, and you can automatically substitude your ad zones with AdSense in case you have no campaigns running.

AdvertServe (Self-Serve Ad Serving Solution). Very old software, but cheap and this may suffice in your case. I tested this software a long time ago. In case you opt for a trial, don't forget to cancel if you don't want to continue, as they tried to charge my card

AdPeeps (Ad Peeps - banner rotator and text ad server software with geotargeting and Joomla compatible |).

Have you tried epom adserver? I've been using them from a month and so far its great when it compared with other ad servers both in cost and reliability.

I wouldn't recommend Revive ad server at all. Its just newbies, but not for the people who are going to invest a lot of money on their campaigns.

It needs a lot of development, right now, it couldn't even geo target properly, and the capping don't work properly, no mobile targeting. Even if you do find mods for that, i am not sure that it will work properly.

It's been over a year since the original post. Offline Oracle, I'm interested to know what you switched to and how you like it.
