    In my opinion, Adsense is pretty dead actually. It takes heaps of effort, and if you're going to be using paid advertising, you're going to be wasting loads of money for a few cents per click that are going to be very few and very far between. In my opinion, online trading is the fastest way to make money. But make sure you arm yourself with knowledge first, otherwise you'll be gambling, not trading. I would suggest Forex trading. Stocks can be manipulated by brokers to be in their favour and against you, but the Forex market is waaay too big for any single person or organization to manipulate.

    Adsense TOS prohibits a person from discussing their exact earnings. Some people are still making a LOT of money with adsense, though. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

    Yup, I am not saying it's necessarily dead, but you have to have started awhile ago to have gotten success with Adsense. I do some money from it every now and then every month, but I don't make it a main income source, and nobody else should at this point if they are just getting started,

    But....
    Like Jason said, some are making good income from it.

    Are you trying to get an estimate you will make if you put Adsense on your site? Just trying to understand the goal of your question. Adsense earning vary a lot niche to niche and month to month.

    It is defiantly worth testing. Just make sure you niche and your website is compliant to their rules.

    Ah, we cant disclose our Adsense earnings mate ... against their terms But let me put it this way: I tend to focus on the CPA/CPL market as I find it to be much more profitable than running someone else's advertising on my high-traffic websites

    I agree with Greedy. Your question in itself is very macro. Different people make different amount of money with different keywords they use for their websites. Some high paying KW will give you more earning with even lesser traffic than some of the high traffic sites optimized for low earning keywords.

    Moreover, age and relevance to the keyword also matter for getting high paying ads.

    The bottomline is that many webmasters are still making BIG with adsense but they are well established old websites with 1000's of pages. If you are starting with adsense, it will take a herculean effort to start making good money with adsense based on the current market.
