Using PPV Traffic to Build a list for a Sports Blog? Could it work

Problem with major sites is that volume over there is huge. Keep that in mind when you try to scale your campaign.

I would check if my funnel is fully optimized count how much I get per user and check it out.
But my suggestion maybe it's better to start with smaller targets in PPV?

Hmm your isn't coming up for me, are you working on it by chance. Anyways the idea is good, but do you have any monetization plan yet? Because this could all get very costly.

Also having good weekly email content is very key, maybe betting odds, new breaks or something.... You want to have an email that people can't wait to get. Then make the squeeze page pitch whatever it is.

That would just be initial approach.

Sounds like a potentially good idea if done properly. I would suggest making your squeeze page look a little more attractive/professional however. That can go a long way in making users more interested in signing up.

Your LP is way to big for most pops. You want everything above the fold. Rule of thumb is 750 x 550 for most traffic sources

Sounds like this could be hard to monetize via PPV to be honest with you. You maybe better off just promoting the affiliate offers via PPV first and once those are converting... then try you hand at building a list. I do this many times before building a list because if the offer doesn't convert on it's own, it is unlikely a list will work.
