Getting people to advertise on your site

I have a website based in the weight loss category, and would like to know where could I go, or find people that would want to advertise on my site?

I don't really want to go to a site that offers those services, I would rather deal with individuals.
Is this possible?

I think anyone who might be interested is going to want to know how much traffic you are getting. "What would be the advantage of advertising there?"

Compared to say a site like here at the WF

How much traffic are you getting?

Weight Loss is a very profitable niche, I would promote CPA or Affiliate offers instead of selling ad space, personally it probably would be a lot more profitable for you. Also if the site is a good size, I would consider making my own product.

Hi, As of right now my site is doing 7k hits per month. In the next 2-3 months, I should be doing 10k per month.

What do you think is the best way to moneytize this traffic?

as always Greedy is right on track. you could potentially make a lot more with CPA offers as opposed to selling space. not to mention, and not to sound negative, 7k hits a month isn't impressive & most likely won't sell much ad space anyway...

Hi Thanks, I know 7k per month is not impressive, the site is only 7 months old, what would you say is a good amount of traffic that I should have before I could sell ad space, or make at lease $40-50 per day with adsense?

I agree with many above, i'd start by selecting cpa offers that meet your demographics and rotate different offers in with different ads to see what yields the most money

Thanks for the information, can you recommend a source where I could learn how to do this effectively? I am already a member of the peerfly network, but I have not really made much conversions due to my lack of experience.

You could start by reaching out to your am at peerfly and ask for their opinion of what offers they think would work well on your site, from there you could try adding their banners or come up with your own text ads to experiment
