CPA = Cost Per Action/Acquisition. It's about affiliate marketing.
Affiliate marketing is where you sign up to earn commissions from
networks or individual programs. These affiliate programs pay for
the leads you generate. As an example Wal-Mart has an affiliate
program. You would register with them (or whoever is managing
their program) and place Wal-Mart affiliate links (containing your
personalized referral codes) on your websites. When your visitors
click through to Wal-Mart and complete an action (typically a
purchase), you earn a portion of that sale, a commission. There
are thousands of affiliate offers for almost every type of product/
    service imaginable.

    In a nutshell:

    1. Merchant wants more leads/business, so he sets up a squeeze page to capture new potential prospects' information.

    2. You (the affiliate) drive traffic to the merchant's website.

    3. Every time a new prospect fills in a form/does the required action on your referral, you get paid.

    Hope this helps.

CPA means cost per action .... what this means that you are paid the moment someone carries out a required action .. which might only mean that you are paid the moment someone fills an offer which might be free

Definitely worth looking into CPA offers.

A tip that is working well for us ---> Rather than sending traffic direct to the CPA website, send to your own site first and pre-sell with some content, a review and / or testimonials.

      cheers,

      Anthony

I ran a lead firm and we would try when ever we could to get affiliates to work on a CPA basis because it fixed our marketing cost. If I offer you 20.00 per lead you spend your own marketing dollars to generate that lead (works the same way with a product) If you drive traffic and generate that lead for 12.00 then you just earned 8.00 on each generated lead. If you can drive alot of traffic and generate 100 leads a day you just earned 800.00 a day. My goal would be to get as many traffic drivers doing this and paying them well and on time. We had our product sold with a profit and we focused on the clients and quality control of the leads.

It's all a mathmatical equation. Thats whre EPC comes in which if your going to drive traffic should be your next question.
