Since the search feature seems to be hopelessly broken here, maybe some of you with experience would be willing to point me in the direction of some quality CPM training or guides?

This is a new area for me, and I would like to start experimenting with it.

I have a good idea of where to buy impressions. What I don't know are the right strategies, tips, tricks and secrets that would give me a good base understanding of how to play the game.

I would be grateful for any good leads.

    Hi Paul,

    Thanks for responding.

I think I laid out what I am looking for pretty well in the original post. If you have resources to share and are still unsure of what I need, maybe you can elaborate on the kind of information that would help?

OK so you know where to buy... so maybe you're going to do FB or some kind of content network media buy.

Ok. I'd just google "site:warriorforum.com" + media buy courses

Traffic Black Book was good en ----- on Udemy.

Teaches stuff like using an adserver.

I'd also good "ghetto banners" as this important.

With CPM the CTR is absolute king, since you pay for it regardless as to whether people click or not.

Some of the ad networks send it to poor inventory who are unlikely to click, so CPC can be a better bet.

If you're ads going to great inventory, CPM is best, since you'll get lots of clicks. If the inventory is more general (like on ad networks), go with CPC --- although CPC isn't an option on a lot of ad networks,.

Check out the above course ---- sure you'll find some further recommendations.

x2.. This to me is the most important part to remember, if you don't have a good CTR you'll likely lose money. You need to ensure your ads are top notch and tested

    One more question...

Are you aware of any advantage to doing the course on udemy over buying it directly from their site?

    Thank you again.

Edit... answered my own question. Signed up directly and they redirected me to the Udemy course.
